  I came in to the Walnut Creek Soma to inquire about the store matching the online sale (buy 1 get 1 50% off). When the employee said they would not match the online sale, I politely said that I wanted to return my purchase from the weekend. The rude employee would not assist me with a return and instead asked to help the person behind me in line. The other customer insisted that the employee help me since I was in line first, and the employee responded with, "her situation (the return) is complicated. She can wait." I thanked the other customer for her kindness, but let her go ahead of me. I was dumbfounded, but waited for the other cashier to help me return my item. I later called the store to talk to the manager, and based on the manager's response, I feel confident that the rude employee was the manager! Her response: "I'm sorry for your situation. Thank you for your feedback. Have a happy holiday." If Soma is your thing, don't waste your time in the Walnut Creek store. Customer service is pathetic and non-existent. Buy online.
